While all vehicle shifting companies try their best to stick to the time schedule they mentioned, but in rare case due to some uncontrollable circumstances, there could be delays. The transport company officials will keep you updated about the same.
Choudhary Trans Logistics (CTL) does not take any responsibility for your vehicle. CTL will only give you the contact numbers of various transporters from your city. Price negotiation, Insurance and safety related discusions will have to be done directly between the customer and the transporter. CTL will not be party to any of the above. CTL does not recommend any particular transporter over the other. CTL also strongly advises all customers to compulsorily take insurance of the items to be transported.Verification of Transporters is done only on the basis on their past record, which may or may not be a true indication of the current capability of the transporter.
The cost of vehicle shifting depends on various factors- type of vehicle to be shifted, distance to be moved, how soon the shifting needs to be done etc. For example, moving a car from Delhi to Hyderabad would cost different as against bike shifting between the 2 cities, and would also vary depending on the make of the car to be shifted.
Just ensure that your vehicle is fully operational at the time of shifting. Simple checklist like tires, brakes, engine is operational, there is some fuel in the car in case it needs to be driven, remove personal belongings etc. Also ensure to check that you remove any loose objects and take note of any dents/damage etc on the vehicle.
The standard vehicle shifting contract will cover door to door service. However, in some cities the transporter might drop the car at a pre designated Depot and the customer might have to pick up the vehicle from that spot.
It depends on the distance to be covered. Depending on your requirement, you will be provided an estimate of when your vehicle will reach the destination. All our transport partners try hard to ensure that the commitment made at the time of booking is adhered to.
All vehicle transporters try to take all necessary steps to transport your vehicle safely. But in the case of damage- Inform the auto carrier as soon as possible, keep your insurance documents ready, if possible take estimate of the cost of work to be done to get your vehicle back in shape. It is strongly advised to get your vehicle insured during the shifting process.
